I’m in a little bit of a ‘noise’ mood, and realised that you could probably pull off a fuckin’ hard set simply inter-playing tracks by The Bloody Beetroots and Designer Drugs. Someone should try that one day. I guarantee it’ll get everyone moving. As long as they aren’t sober enough to realise that all you’re doing is that.
I seriously don’t know if it’s just me who thinks it could work, though. I mean, we’ve already established that I’m a pop whore, but the only remotely pop-ish track that I can envision slipping in is Lady Gaga’s brilliant Bad Romance (Bimbo Jones Vocal Mix) which is a surprise since I usually am not a fan of Bimbo Jones at all…
I chose Drop Down to be the focus track of this post because quite frankly, I love it. While Back Up In This is still a favourite of mine by Designer Drugs; Drop Down is newer. And it’s just so edgy. I love it.
As for the Warp 1.9 Remix I’ve thrown in; well, I didn’t want to post the original. It’s been spammed enough on the radio for me to be sufficiently over it (that and hearing it at some prissy little private boy’s high school formal dance was quite bizarre. since nobody was dancing. at all.) and out of the six mixes I have so far of it; I have to say Hide and Scream did a nice job on an already well-polished track.

EDIT: You might have noticed that I’m using SoundCloud for some of the link-throughs instead of Youtube. This is because Youtube is a pain for me and if I actually found the track on SoundCloud , I’d rather SoundCloud get the hit :)
Although really, SoundCloud annoys me when I find an amazing remix (*coughEARTHQUAKEcough*) that I can’t download. Ohwell.
