Yesterday I was hunting down remixes of Ke$ha’s song Tik Tok. Why? ‘Cause it’s actually a pretty amazing song. I think it’s a combination of the Uffie-styled vocals and Dr Luke’s beats: but in any case, I’m in love with this song. 8-Bit Slave is the mixer of this track and hot damn does he do an amazing job on it.
Then, after looking at 8-Bit Slave’s site, I found that amazing 8-Bit Remix of Britney Spears’ Piece of Me. It’s seriously awesome.
Which then reminded me of the Remix of 3 that I have by DJ Amaya which is pretty swell. It’s pretty grungy and dirtier than some of the other remixes of 3.
But continuing with the 8-Bit theme: I also have an 8-Bit mix of La Roux’s Quicksand. Which is nice. It’s not very noisy, but it’s worth a listen to, I suppose.
